Weaving for Parenting

The newly founded Family Enrichment Center in Sunset Park hosted its first community offering, Weaving for Parenting, a heartfelt session led by Sara Rothstein, a licensed creative arts therapist, and supported by FEC staff.

In 8 intimate gatherings, full-time mothers from diverse cultural backgrounds came together to share their life stories, weaving not just threads but connections.

Through the simple yet profound act of weaving, they discovered companionship, strength, and a renewed sense of self-worth. It was a space where bonds were formed and voices that had long been quieted found a platform to be heard.
